Microsoft Modern Workplace Engineer

The ideal candidate will join our Cloud Solutions team as a Modern Workplace Engineer. This role supports technical cloud pre-sales activities and involves designing, deploying, and managing Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions for our partners and end customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support Microsoft 365 solutions for Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, and Entra ID
• Plan and execute end-to-end migration projects, including transitions from on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online, as well as file servers and legacy intranets to SharePoint Online
• Design, implement, and operate Microsoft Defender security framework (MDE, MDI, MDO, Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud Apps) to protect identities, endpoints, email, and cloud workloads
• Manage and optimize Microsoft Intune for device lifecycle management across provisioning, configuration, security, and retirement
• Implement Zero Trust architecture using Conditional Access, MFA, and Entra ID Protection aligned with security policies
• Enforce data governance and compliance controls using Microsoft Purview, DLP policies, Sensitivity Labels, and Insider Risk Management

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration and deployment
• knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, and Teams administration
• Hands-on experience with Endpoint Management, Intune, Autopilot, SCCM/ConfigMgr
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender suite and security operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR) and custom KQL analytics rules
• Microsoft Microsoft 365, or Cybersecurity certifications are highly desirable
• Hands-on experience with M365 migrations tools (BitTitan, ShareGate, Quest)
• Understanding of data privacy principles and regulatory requirements
• Have effective communication skills both orally and written
