Junior 3D Electrical Layout Designer / Engineer |

Hydrus Engineering S.A. is a global engineering firm delivering technologies and services in the Maritime, Energy, Oil & Gas sectors. We are seeking a Junior 3D Electrical Layout Designer / Engineer to join an international nuclear energy project and contribute to the detailed 3D design and integration of electrical connections and related building systems.

Key Responsibilities

·  Develop 3D cable-tray routes and equipment layouts within a complex industrial building model.

·  Position equipment at defined installation locations and connect systems by identifying practical, compliant cable-routing solutions.

·  Apply project rules related to routing, clearances, accessibility, constructability and multidisciplinary interfaces.

·  Review 3D models, layouts and technical documentation; identify clashes or design issues and support their resolution.

·  Produce and review 2D construction drawings and technical deliverables generated from the 3D model.

·  Work with systems including power, lighting, telecommunications, fire protection and security, in coordination with Greek and French engineering teams.

Requirements

·  Engineering degree from a Technical University or equivalent institution.

·  Working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD/design software and good spatial perception.

·  Ability to work accurately and consistently within defined engineering rules and procedures.

·  Proficient written and spoken English.

·  Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·  Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, Revit, AVEVA or similar 3D engineering software.

·  Exposure to electrical installations, MEP/building services, cable routing, piping or other layout-based design.

·  Knowledge of French is considered a plus.
