Data Engineer

We are seeking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data Management & Analytics team.

As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for the creation, design and management of modern intelligence applications/data bases to provide the necessary business information needed for decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Create/design/manage databases/or build new databases to meet specific business needs
  • Configure new and existing systems and maintain the databases to ensure everything remains functional
  • Participate in the design of databases illustrating the classification of data and how they interact
  • Support data retrieval related to data collection, integration, enrichment, transformation and utilization
  • Automation reporting involving creation, management and distribution of reports according to the requirements of the Business units
  • Data acquiring from primary or secondary data sources or databases

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math or related field (BSc, MSc)
  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant position (relational/multidimensional databases)
  • Understanding of modern requirements & methodologies in software development
  • Solid experience in SQL, Python and Spark
  • Proficiency in Azure, as well as expertise in data platforms such as Databricks and Synapse
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft tools /Visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlick etc)
  • Very good knowledge of ETL Tools (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services)
  • Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS and SSRS (Microsoft), will be considered as an asset
  • Customer-business service orientation and quality focus deliver
  • Proactive analytical expertise and problem solving approach
  • Team spirit and ability to learn, adapt, communicate and organize effectively

Credit Risk Management Auditor

We are seeking for a Credit Risk Management Auditor to join Group Internal Audit, as member of the Credit Risk Management Audit team.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute and report of risk-based Credit Risk Management audits in compliance with the Regulatory framework.
  • Conduct audits/assessments covering Credit Risk and all included areas, ie lending risk, concentration risk, counterparty credit risk, country risk and other risks such as ESG risks, including models development and validation processes/areas, capital adequacy calculation (Pillar I, II, III), ICAAP, stress testing framework, risk and capital strategy, recovery and resolution.
  • Provide consulting services and advice on Risk Management policies and procedures as well as on technology projects, new products/services and processes.
  • Conduct findings follow up process.

Qualifications

  • BSc degree preferably in Accounting/Economics/Finance, Mathematics & Statistics, Physics, Risk Management
  • Master’s degree with specialization in one or more of the following fields: Financial Engineering, Risk Management, Data science, Applied Statistics will be considered an asset
  • At least three (3) years experience in Credit Risk and other types of risks (eg ESG risks), as well as Capital Adequacy (Pillar I, II, III) policies, methodologies and models, processes and systems
  • Adequate knowledge of the risk management and internal governance framework including the banking regulatory framework (eg CRD IV, CRR, Act 2577/2016)
  • Strong analytical skills, including being comfortable handling large datasets
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools such as ACL, Python and MS Power BI and/or MS SQL will be considered as a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English.
  • High attention to detail and hands-on attitude
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Positive, committed and engaged attitude while demonstrating a team spirit and partnership
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities and meeting tight deadlines
