Your Tasks
As a Cyber Security Administrator (m/f/d) you are an important part of our international Cyber Security Operations Team. You will be responsible for maintaining our own as well as the multi-facetted security landscape of our customers, which also includes the operation of our managed security services. The following activities are within your area of responsibility:
- Administration and operation of security solutions, such as next generation firewalls, email security gateways, endpoint protection and vulnerability management
- Handling maintenance tasks such as patchdays on a regular basis to make sure we are as resilient as possible concerning the availability of our services
- Help customers with implementing planned changes to their security infrastructure
- Making sure monitoring includes all relevant services and constantly reviewing room for improvement
- Keeping all relevant documentation up to date and helping in constantly extending our internal knowledge base
- Assist in constantly developing our automation platform
Your Know-how
- Strong interest in Cyber Security topics
- Optional: You have basic knowledge about security systems (firewalls, email security gateways, endpoint protection, vulnerability management)
- Completed studies in IT or comparable professional experience
- Fundamental IT knowledge in networking administration and operating systems
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, backup strategies and virtualization platforms
- Ideally automation experience with tools like Ansible to streamline tasks and enforce consistent configurations
- Good to have: You bring experience in comparable positions, such as Network Administrator, Network Security Administrator, Systems & Network Administrator, Systems Administrator etc
- Solid knowledge of English

- Conception, installation and operation of customer environments in the data center/cloud area and of internal infrastructures

Your Know-how
- Completed studies in IT and professional experience in comparable positions (2 years or more)

- Good knowledge of system administration (Linux and/or Microsoft)
