SEEMS PC, a Greek company focused on IoT solutions development employing Artificial Intelligence techniques, is looking for a talented and highly-motivated R&D Project Manager to manage and implement EU and National R&D projects.

SEEMS cooperates with partners from the Academia, Research Centers, and Commercial Sector to co-submit and implement research proposals in European and National calls, towards the co-development of new and innovative digital technology.  SEEMS R&D interests are mainly focused on the areas of Industrial Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Machine Vision, Big data & Analytics, Robotics, Remote Monitoring, and Edge Computing.

Responsibilities
  • Management and implementation of R&D projects.
  • Contribution to conception and preparation of research proposals, from identifying EU and National funding opportunities, develop new ideas to form and handle multidisciplinary consortia.
  • Tracking progress via a detailed project plan.
  • Preparation of reports and deliverables, respecting the deadlines.
  • Communication with project partners.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
  • Representation of the company in project meetings and relevant events.
  • Comprehensive project documentation and reporting.
  • Participation in scientific and/or business publications.
Requirements
  • BSc / MSc in Electrical & Computer Engineer, Information/Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in the preparation of research proposals and in the project management of national and European R&D projects
  • Extensive experience with MS Office tools
  • Writing and editing skills
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Agility and team spirit
  • Willingness to take initiative and motivation to drive results.
  • Ability to negotiate and cooperate with international partners.
  • Very good planning and time-management skills.
  • Availability to travel abroad.
  • Excellent use of English language
Considered as a plus
  • Previous experience as a Project Coordinator
  • Certification in project management (PMP, Prince II etc.)
  • Familiar with Industry4.0 related technologies, like IoT, AI/ML, Edge/cloud computing, Big Data, etc.
