The Role

Through Open Innovation, we serve as the primary driving force of innovation for our global clients, enabling them to execute comprehensive transformation initiatives from idea generation to industrialization.

The Innovation Programs Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of our Open Innovation Programs through 3 main steps; translate organizational problems to appealing challenges for the innovation community, monitor their successful implementation and lead a unique closing-pitching event.

Responsibilities

Step 01: Innovation SetUp

  • Participate in the meetings with the partners to identify their needs and define the framework of the open innovation program.
  • Set, manage, and keep track of the project’s: budget, timeline, activities, milestones, KPIs and deadlines
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to create a unique brand (program) identity based on customer’s needs and the scope of the program and an effective communication & community building strategy
  • Make sure the challenge page is built in accordance with client guidelines while following the brand identity of the program

Step 02: Implementation

  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, event managemer, design, R&I), and assign tasks
  • Ensure all communication and external material are aligned with brand identity of the program and the identity/needs of the customer
  • Conduct the deliverables and create insightful external and internal reports

Step 03: Pitching

  • Draft event agenda based on the scope of the event, the involved stakeholders and customer’s needs
  • In cooperation with the Event Manager, ensure all necessary event supplies are in place (lanyards, awards, table…, tech equipment) and aligned with brand identity
  • Ensure the best execution of the event and a dynamic pitching competition
  • Support all after-event activities and ensure customer & participants satisfaction

THE IDEAL PROFILE

You are based in Athens, and fluent in English and in Greek. You have a deep passion for innovation and startups want to work in a fast-paced environment. Likewise, you are also a geek for challenges and competitions, and are ready to take one on!

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A degree in Business Administration, Project & Innovation Management or a related field
  • Prior experience as a project coordinator or a similar position will be an asset
  • Understanding and interest in Marketing & Events Management
  • A knack for problem-solving
  • Multi-tasker
  • Excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Previous experience in reporting
  • Ability to create and manage budgets.
  • Customer-service orientation
  • Excellent collaboration skills.
  • A team player with leadership skills
