Your Tasks

As IT Systems Administrator (f/m/d) – VMware you are responsible for the conception, construction and operation of customer environments in the data center/cloud as well as our internal infrastructure with a focus on VMware. The following activities fall within your area of ​​responsibility:

  • You take care of the continuous operation of cloud infrastructures for our national and international customers
  • You will take on administrative and planning tasks in the VMware environment in our data centers
  • You support our customers with support requests and take care of troubleshooting (2nd / 3rd level support) 
  • In order to guarantee a smooth process, you document your processes in our applications
  • In addition, you will bring our products and services closer to our customers by preparing and conducting technical product demonstrations and workshops

Your Know-how

  • Completed vocational training or studies in the IT sector or comparable professional experience
  • Well-founded knowledge in dealing with VMware technologies such as Horizon, NSX, vSAN and/or VSphere
  • First experience in technical project management
  • Enthusiasm for system administration
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

  • A certain degree of willingness to travel
