GENEPHARM S.A., a Leading European Generic Pharmaceutical Company, with an impressive international customer base, seeks to appoint:

Business Develpment Assistant

(Ref.: BDA/23)

Major responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate and support various Business Development functions:
    • Create and update various BD databases
    • Customer correspondence – queries, newsletters and information
    • Active role on supporting the Business Development Managers’ activities on Customer Support and commercial offers
    • Preparing Department’s ppt presentations in Conferences, internal meetings
  • Manage relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Preparing all related business preparation actions for GENEPHARM presence in World Annual Pharmaceutical Exhibition (CPhIs) or other events (Europlx etc)
  • Proactively seek feedback from key customers to ensure continuous improvement and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Business Development travel & accommodation arrangements
  • Secretarial support and personal assistance to Business Development Director, Global Licensing

Candidates with the following skills & attributes are encouraged to apply:

  • Team player with an outgoing personality focussed on customer needs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills either with colleagues or with clients
  • Well organised, self-motivated and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent command (verbal and writing) of the English language (knowledge of Spanish, German and/or French will be advantageous)
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
  • Previous experience in a similar position and knowledge of the generic pharmaceutical market will also be desirable.
