MYTILINEOS, a leading industrial company with a strong international presence in four Business Units, Metallurgy, Sustainable Engineering Solutions, Power & Gas, and International Renewables & Storage Development is currently seeking to hire a Supply Chain Officer based in Thessaloniki for the International Renewables & Storage Development Business Unit.

Main Responsibilities:

As Supply Chain Officer at M Renewables, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with the Procurement department employees, Procurement Engineers, and Operations Specialists (Ops).
• Prepare reports and presentations for the Management team.
• Maintain Technical and Engineering Department’s databases in collaboration with Ops Specialists
• Assist in preparing monthly or as-needed comparison tables with the main equipment pricing and specifications per project and provide it to the Management Team via a corporate link.
• Assist in monitoring the company’s demand for products to avoid supply shortages.
• Support and assist in creating, managing, and maintaining an up-to-date supplier Whitelist.
• Monitoring supplier performance, preparing an action plan for improvement and organizing business reviews with all major suppliers
• Assist and support Sustainability related initiatives and policies.
• Preparing cost-benefit analysis reports for review by managers.
• Prepare monthly reports and analyze data.
• Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation in collaboration with Procurement Department employees.
• Gather and keep records of ESG / Sustainability data ie. GRIs.
• Work closely with the Sustainability department.
• Support co-workers in ESG / Sustainability related issues.
• Assist in retrieving information on ESG rankings from Suppliers./ Participate in the entire ESG Activity

As Supply Chain Officer, you need to have the following skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Finance/ Management.
• Experience as a Purchasing assistant or in a similar position.
• In-depth business management, supply chain, and strategic sourcing knowledge.
• Excellent use of spoken and written English language skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate information clearly, to groups or individuals, verbally or in writing as needed. Demonstrates effective skills such as active listening, presentation skills, writing skills, and interpersonal communication skills.
