The Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association (CITEA) is looking to recruit a competent, motivated individual for the position of “CITEA Manager”, reporting to the Board of Directors.

CITEA is the organization serving the local IT Enterprises in terms of advocacy, networking, and events. It is a member of the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB).

CITEA’s primary goals are:

• Become the focal point for support and help for any business related matter that is of wider interest and value
• Facilitate, coordinate and improve the penetration of digital technologies in the local market, in a balanced and effective way
• Promote to the Cyprus Government ways and means for adopting IT solutions and safeguarding appropriate procurement processes, practices and standards,
• Create and maintain regular communication between CITEA members and the wider business community in Cyprus,
• Promote Cyprus as an international business center, having a high standard of ICT solutions and services to serve the local society as well as to export technology know-how, able to act as regional ICT center,
• Promote to the Cyprus Market ‘Best ICT Practices’ for adopting ICT solutions, aiming to improve Cyprus competitive posture in a Globalized economy
• Represent Cyprus IT Enterprises in every ICT related forum and body abroad, building a portfolio of value-add services for its member and prospective players from the international community
• Address issues of general interest (such as the lack of Skilled Resources Availability)

The responsibilities of the successful candidate will be among others:

• The day-to-day CITEA activities, including focusing on enabling and running the policy environment, the execution of the public relations / social media / digital marketing plan, new members recruitment, supporting the committees meeting and execution, and revenue achievement as per budget
• Be the focal day-to-day person for following up on all CITEA strategy execution matters on a continuous basis, and execute/follow-up on the initiatives
• Continuous follow-up on all BoD decisions, continuously liaising with the President
• Work very tightly with the OEB secretariat for CITEA to support the CITEA objectives
• Undertake to manage projects with external stakeholders including Digital Europe
• Liaise with the authorities for the execution of CITEA objectives
• Organize events
• Interaction with Digital Europe
• Business Development activities for revenue generation such as Digital Europe projects, sponsorships management.

Qualifications / Eligibility:

• University Degree or equivalent preferably in one of the following subjects:
• Information Technology, Economics, Business Administration,
• Law, European Studies, International Relations

• Relevant work experience will be considered as an advantage
• European Projects experience will be considered as an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English (both written and oral)
• The ability to travel abroad at a regular basis and on short notice
• Excellent Digital Skills and good knowledge of handling social media and website content.
• Integrity of character and good organizational skills
• Team spirit

The successful candidate for the position of CITEA Manager will enter into an employment contract for a fixed term.
