The Stavros S. Niarchos Foundation Fellowships for Excellence in Graduate Education were created in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Canada-Greece Relations.

Value & Duration

  • Full tuition and fees + at least 15,000/year for living expenses
    • Value for 2023/2024 TBD
  • The award is renewable for one more year provided that both good academic standing and full-time registration status are maintained.

Deadlines

First Round – Greek citizens and permanent residents of Greece only

  • Deadline to submit application to Academic Unit: set by Academic Unit
  • Deadline for Academic Units to submit applications to GPS: March 15 (moved to the next Monday if it falls on a weekend)

Second Round – Other applicants

  • Deadlines TDB if no recipients are determined in first round
