The DigiHub NTO is responsible for the Transformation and Optimization of the fixed telephone network in Germany. Its main target is to enhance the end customers experience by better products and bandwidths. This should be done by an optimal workforce usage and a very high grade of automation.

The Hub takes E2E responsibility for process based bulk changes in the network, changes of technic components and changes in IT-Systems. Ten thousands of network changes are executed daily. Changes are done in copper and fiber networks. A collection of microservices is used as a toolset to provide a high-grade flexibility and reusage.

Project FTTH1.7 Migration Introduction

The main mission of our international Team is to create software, which helps to migrate our customers to most recent technology platforms. There is always change in our platforms – sometimes new technologies, sometimes new processes or IT landscapes. We migrate million customers from source to the target to optimize the customer experience and offer new services and quality.

Our product is a set of applications, which enable the migrations, by breaking them down into processes and process steps. Each process step is then automated and orchestration of hundreds of microservices and REST Services are used to fully automate the processes.

Your role as Business Analyst

Your role will be to understand business requirements described in Epics (What to implement) and translate them to User Stories (How to implement). Your challenge is to understand on the one side the business side and what software is needed to improve the business and on the other side to deeply understand the software we are developing. You can read complex technical specifications and like to understand the big picture behind it.

Your profile

  •     At least 3 years of work experience as Business Analyst
  •     Deep understanding of technical specifications
  •     Ability to break down complex tasks in parts, which can be handled
  •     Experience in the use of Jira and Confluence
  •     Solution-oriented way of working along with a good team and communication skills
  •     English – Communication level (B2)

Would be nice to have

  •     Experience in DevOps is very welcome
  •     Experience in Cloud technologies (AWS)
  •     Experience of working in international projects would be an asset
  •     Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering

You will be a member of 1 of our polish Scrum Teams. Two are already in place, next 3 being build. Your Scrum Team usually consist of: Solution designer, Business Analyst, 3-4 Backend Developers, 2 Frontend Developers, Manual Tester, Automation Tester, Product Owner, Scrum Master.
