TERNA ENERGY, member of GEK TERNA Group, is seeking an enthusiastic

IT Support Specialist

to join its ICT Department


The successful candidate will be responsible for providing end-user hardware and software support, handling/ monitoring the overall system and network status, and communicating with hardware and service providers.

Essential functions for the Role

Monitor the company’s system and network infrastructure via the established monitoring tool

Provide first-level troubleshooting and support

Escalate issues to internal or external second level support

Follow end-user requests on the Helpdesk Portal

Handle the communication with hardware and service providers to fulfill IT procurement requests

Prepare monthly reports


Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar

Good knowledge of Windows configuration and administration

Very good knowledge of Office 365 platform

At least basic understanding of LAN & WAN networking


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

A knowledge enthusiast, eager to learn and share knowledge with others

Able to work as an individual contributor and collaboratively as a team member

Responsible and accountable worker, ensuring timely and informative communications with IT management and end-users
