Partnerships Officer – Nicosia, Cyprus – CYENS

About the Position
The Centre is seeking for a Partnerships officer to join its fast-growing team of passionate and enthusiastic professionals.  The job holder will be reporting to the Partnerships Manager.
 
The Partnerships officer will be responsible for:

  • Identify new business opportunities and report to the Partnership Manager.
  • Uncover ways to add value to the existing Partner’s base and drive additional revenue.
  • Actively follow up on queries from partners and making sure they receive the very best of our service and support under the guidance of the Partnership Manager. 
  • Manage of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Carry out periodic market research and provide feedback to management.
  • Prepare collateral material required by the Partnerships Manager.
  • Assist in developing and managing strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct primary market research as well as desktop research.
  • Collaborate with other members of the CYENS Innovation and Research teams
  • Represent the Centre in workshops, meetings, and industry events.

 
General qualifications and requirements

  1. University Degree (Bachelor’s Degree or Degree of a level equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree) or Diploma or Certificate or other study title or qualifications in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field.
  2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
  3. Strong understanding of the Cypriot SME ecosystem’s dynamics and requirements.
  4. Feel at ease in a goal-oriented environment and endeavor to overcome any obstacles that may prevent targets from being fulfilled. 
  5. Language requirements: Excellent written and oral English and Greek language skills will be required.
  6. Very good analytical skills coupled with attention to detail.  
  7. Dynamic, adaptable, hands-on and results driven.
  8. Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently. 
  9. A team player with an ability to work independently and under pressure. 
  10. High levels of commitment, energy, and drive.
  11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  12. Experience in EU funded projects will be considered an advantage.
  13. Experience in Public Sector projects will be considered an advantage.
