Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to attract an IT Serialization Officer to join our Information Technology team at Pharmathen’s Marousi premises.

As an IT Serialization Officer, the ideal candidate will be involved in the development and validation of the IT Serialization Product Tracking application (SPT), in the execution and deployment of Pharmaceutical Serialization applications, software interfaces between the organization and its B2B customers. He/she will execute software interfaces between the organization and its B2B customers, testing and maintaining operational requirements, and characteristics of the serialization product tracking application. He/ she will be involved in project management activities for projects assigned in his relevant area.

More particularly:

What you’ll do:

  • Follow Company’s Quality Policy and comply with current operational standards and legislative requirements
  • Work in accordance with the requirements of the written Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Directives and Protocols of the company’s Quality System, that are related to the duties of the described position
  • Follow the rules of hygiene and control of health status as defined in the relevant Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Manage all software/applications related to serialization product tracking that Pharmathen IT will manage, should be able to troubleshoot any issues in any of the applications/ database that will be used in all levels of serialization project
  • Be responsible to troubleshoot any database/application issues on Packaging line or on any of the affiliated servers. Monitor serialization product tracking regulatory requirements and bring necessary compliance requirements in Pharmathen at all level of serialization project
  • Be responsible to execute software interfaces between Pharmathen and its B2B customers, testing and maintaining operational requirements and characteristics of the serialization product tracking application
  • Manage and supports the core project team/users on a day-to-day basis
  • Participate at generation & execution of various GMP related documents and protocols, including a number of the following: URS, FS/DS, IQ, OQ & PQ
  • Make effective relationships with external parties (customers,suppliers) to ensure appropriate level of support
  • Post and handle serialization events from Pharmathen Level 4 Serialization system to Pharmathen Customers Serialization systems


The ideal candidate should have:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
  • 2 years or more experience is preferred in IT, Manufacturing or Supply chain background

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Proven track record defining and implement successful enterprise business applications (e.g., SAP ERP, supply chain, manufacturing, serialization) through multiple areas
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to perform in a team environment under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent command of English
