Operations Manager
The ideal incumbent must have:
- Degree in Hospitality/Tourism.
- Post graduate studies are a plus.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Excellent knowledge of hotel management software.
- Excellent Ms Office, strong email, PC and internet skills.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in the same role in 4- or 5-star property.
- Pre -opening experience, setting the appropriate infrastructure.
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
Work under the guidance of the Group Operations Director having the following duties:
- Develop business plans and feasibility studies under the guidance of Operations Manager.
- Develop and implement strategies that will ensure a positive experience that exceeds guest’s expectations.
- Plan & coordinate all pre-opening activities, concerning all the operation function / needs and specs.
- Handling daily all the functional areas of hotel operations.
- Monitor and maintain operation & overhead cost to maintain maximum revenue.
- Ensure SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) implementation in all departments.
- Control the purchase / requests of each department.
- Inspect all departments with their respective Supervisor for cleanliness, ambience, service readiness, staff grooming & hospitality culture.(daily randomly routine)
- Assess and review customer satisfaction and service recovery process.
- Identify staff learning needs and assisting with development.
- Ensure that the operations, staff and supervisors are properly trained according to the NLH standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure physical facilities are kept in optimal condition.
- Ensure safety guidelines are always followed both by employees and Hotel guests.
