As the Cloud & Databases Architect, you will be responsible to ensure an Architecture that enables increasingly Agile Delivery and Delivery Automation, Continuous Testing and Continuous Deployment (DevOps). You will actively contribute to optimize costs on licensing and resources (compute, storage, etc.) while considering simplification of support services.

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
  • Work closely with Enterprise Architects to support the definition of a cloud strategy that accelerates the value generation to the CCH business.
  • Participate to Agile teams to implement cloud-based solutions.
  • Build strong, working relationships with hyperscalers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure (strongly preferred), and Google or other SaaS, PaaS, IaaS providers.
  • Manage technical escalations between CCH and the outsourcing vendors for the technology areas under responsibility.
  • Support CCH operations in improving the end-to-end performance and availability of the systems.
  • Provide leadership during emergency situation by facilitating the investigation of the root cause analysis and suggesting actions and workarounds. 
  • Actively contribute to optimize costs on licensing and resources(compute, storage, etc.) while considering simplification of support services.

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

 
  • University  Degree in IT, Engineering or relevant field
  • 10 + years’ experience in Databases administration (Oracle,SAP HANA, SAP ASE , SQL) 
  • Proven Experience in Migration to HANA, ASE or other Database Conversion
  • 2 + years Experience in administration/desing of systems in public clouds (Azure preferred)
  • Knowledge of infrastructure including storage systems and archiving (eg Seralla)
  • Desired experience of IT Operation services in complex multinational environments
  • Experience in operations or migration of SAP systems and related databases in public clouds (Azure, AWS)
  • SAP Authentication methods – SAML, Kerberos, SNC SSO, SPNEGO, SSL, X.509
  •  Good understanding of mission critical architectures, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, implementation and testing
