Future needs: UX/UI Designer

Role summary: This is a full-time REMOTE position. To create amazing experiences, we need amazing people! People that share the same passion and enthusiasm for research and technology as we do. We are looking for a UI/UX designer who will work on research projects designing services, user experience flows and interfaces for web and mobile apps and smart-devices like smart-watches, and online educational material. The designer will also be responsible for usability and acceptability evaluation studies, namely developing user evaluation protocols, conducting user-testing, and drafting the respective reports.

What are you going to do?

● Collaborate with the team of Project managers and the marketing experts and stakeholders to define and implement professional service and product design for innovative solutions.

● Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.

● Create, improve, and using wireframes, user flows/journey maps and process flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

● Execute all visual design stages from concept to final integration with engineering.

● Edit supporting material/media (images, illustrations, graphics, animations, audio, video) for our marketing campaigns (in social media) and e-learning courses by using Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud tools or similar

● Help experts improve technology uptake by developing compelling course content and captivating learning activities like simulations, role plays, games etc by creating templates for highly engaging, interactive content using Articulate Storyline authoring tool or similar

● Categorize, manage and maintain content in our Learning Management Systems (LMS)

● Quality Assurance (QA) testing from a user experience perspective to ensure full functionality and accuracy prior to release via interviews or online questionnaires

● Create reports using professional dashboards (eg HotJar) and metrics (from eg Google Analytics) after analyzing data in Excel or similar tools

● Maintain style, tone, and brand consistency across all company deliverables.

● Excellent English speaking and writing skills.

● In some cases, you will be asked to travel to your client site (within Europe).

Qualifications

● 2 years of experience in a similar position proven by a portfolio;

● Experience with and affinity for technology;

● Degree in Service Design, Graphic Design, Informatics, Computer Science or Digital Systems;

● Master’s Degree will be considered an asset;

● Experience in using Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud multimedia production software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Premiere Pro, Character Animator etc;

● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English;

● Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail;

● Experience in managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously;

● Team management experience will be considered a plus.
