The Supply Chain Data Analyst will be a valuable member of the Supply Chain Central Operations team, working closely both with internal (IT) and external (consultants, academia) business partners to optimize end-to-end supply chain speed and cost. He / She will focus in areas including: data mining, business analysis, budget and capacity planning, operations and network optimization. Creation of models, tools and frameworks that are employed to optimize customer experience and logistics efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Retrieves and analyses large volumes of data from relational databases in order to build reports; identify patterns and optimize supply chain processes.
Works with big data infrastructure and other analytics tools (Python, Excel, Power BI) in order to drive business insight and booster data driven decision-making.
Analyse processes in order to eliminate and optimize bottlenecks; optimize service level and operating costs.
Supports prescriptive and predictive modelling for business planning projects.
Create workflows and data structures to support decision making in distribution planning projects
The ideal candidate should have:
BSc in Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Statistics or Engineering
MSc in Computer Science, Business Analytics or Data Science
Analytical thinking and problem solving capabilities.
Good communication and project management skills.
Experience on working in SQL projects
