A master’s degree (or equivalent) in one of the following disciplines: physical oceanography, ocean engineering or a closely related field.
Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and verbal).
Preferred qualifications for higher ranking positions:
PhD degree and/or research/academic experience in one of the following disciplines: physical oceanography, ocean engineering or a closely related field.
Significant proven record in project participation and research funding.
High impact publication record on relevant topics will be considered an advantage.
Previous managerial experience will be considered an advantage.
Experience in the development of regional ocean models and/or data management will be considered an advantage.
